Is an analyst at Sanford Bernstein, Stacy Rasgon, who recently issued a thick report discusses the 49 pages that focus on the market today and the future for the tablet device.
In his report as reported by the BGR site, Rasgon said that he gave credit to Apple with the creation of a market and believe that the iPad will continue to dominate the market indefinitely.
For the record, Apple has sold as many as 19.5 million units in its first year iPad availability. The number is said to be two times the number of netbook sales and tripling of sales of the iPhone at the same time period.
Only with IPAD business only, "Apple has created a company of EMC in a year," said Rasgon.
Like many other analysts, Rasgon also predicted that the tablet market will 'boom' during the next few years, with annual sales growth rate of 215 units by the end of 2015.
Based on Bernstein's survey results indicated that as many as 20% of consumers plan to buy the tablets over the next 12 months.
